Yes it is true. However, i personally know the guy that took second place and he beat the guy they gave first place to two out of three times and only lost the third race because he pulled to big a tracky at the top of the hill and spun out to lose by half a sled length.
He has a bender rear mount turbo at 22#'s boost and only lost the one race all day! go figure that one out!
P.S. They didn't hold the race at the normal hill they stayed at the shorter one next to the highway so the smokers didn't have to be towed too far! HA! HA! 4-stroke turbos rule (top ten places)

jeff - I asked my friend about your comment about the racers edge sled not loosing. He said he beat him twice earlier in the day. I don't think he would lie to me, he has nothing to gain from it. I also talked to one one of the Yamaha R&D testers this weekend that was at the race and he told me that my friends sled was the fastest sled there that day.
racers edge had more than one sled there, the one with my engine never lost a race. jeff
