The fan blows the fuse every second or third trip out.Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

If it doesnt do it right away, then you have a wire rubbed through somewhere. Mine also blew a fuse when the fan basicly rusted and wouldnt turn.
Disconnect it and put 12v directly to it and see if it turns easily. If so, rule that out.
