this past weekend my friend noticed when he rode behind me my sled at one point it smelled of gas. like it was leaking gas. later that day when i stopped the sled would not idle, it would stall at idle but was able to start back up and run. the issue was intermittent all weekend. i checked the codes. sat it threw a 14 and 23 code. i deleted them and on sunday it threw a 14 code again and was still having intermittent stalling at idle issues.
code 14 is for intake air pressure- hose system malfunction (clogged or detached hose)
can someone please tell me the exact location of the intake air pressure switch and associated hoses i need to inspect?
Code 23 is for an open or short detected from the atmospheric pressure sensor. i also need to know the location of this sensor if anyone can please help me.
Thanks

ok so i looked and found 2 pressure sensors with the same part #5ps-82380-00-00
1 pressure sensor appears to be mounted to the ECU bracket. The 2nd pressure sensor appears to be mounted to the fuel rail.
Am i correct in assuming the pressure sensor mounted on the fuel rail is the intake air pressure sensor?
and the pressure sensor mounted on the ECU is the atmospheric pressure sensor?
Does anyone have any ideas what hoses on the intale pressure sensor i should be checking?
My sled is in maine and i am in mass trying to figure this out before i drive back up 5 hours this weekend>

ok so i think i "might" have found my problem.
I found a wire worn through in my wiring harness where the ecu/atmospheric pressure sensor attaches to the wiring harness.
i can see the pink wire is worn through and the inner bare wire is exposed.
in my first post i explained that i was triggering a code 23 and a code 14. 23 is atmospheric pressure and 14 is intake air pressure.
i have checked and rechecked and tested everything i can find on both systems. this wire is the only thing i could find wrong.
does anyone know if this wire would trigger both codes or only the 23 code.
thanks in advance
Steven
