Does anyone here notice any leaking or weeping oil at the rear of the engine where the drive shaft comes out the rear of the engine.
It's not dripping or nothing but it's oily/dirty all around the PTO plate.
I have about 320 m. on my 05' Grizzly and am wondering if this is normal or if I should attempt a warrenty claim before the factory warrenty expires?
Please post up and let me know of any of your experriences with this area.

I'll have a look at my two beasts when I get back from my train wreck adventure.

Nope no leaks on my 04 grizz with 4300 miles... but i did notice there was like oil on my rear diff where the axle comes out of.....
Finally got a look at my two machines and there's no oil seeping from any areas. If it were mine, I'd try for the warranty claim as long as I knew it wasn't from my own abuse.
I was talking with my dealer and a Yamaha tech rep at the Milwaukee snowmobile show last night, describing our adventures and some of the things my wife and I have done with our Grizzlys and he says "I don't want to even hear about it." My dealer stuck up for me and said that I was one of their rare customers who actually opened his wallet rather than claim warranty when something was abused.
Of course, when I do make a warranty claim I expect it to be covered and I've never been disappointed with my dealer or Yamaha.
