Well, I completed my exhaust tonight. It is now by far the coolest sounding sled I've ever been around. I can't wait to here what it sounds like at 11,000 rpm.

I'm in the muffler and materials about $50 and about 2 hours of labor. It ended up being 11 lbs. lighter than stock. It's got a very distinct, crisp and throaty sound. It sounds incredible I think.

Plus, the whole muffler is polished T-304 stainless so it shines like crazy. Some of you may not like it because it's to flashy but I think it looks and sounds awesome.

I will post pics tommorrow afternoon when I'm off work. :bling

It's not so loud that you can't hear yourself think. And it's definatly quieter than some 2-strokes I've been around. It's quite a bit more than stock, but it's not obnoxious.

I don't know how to post a video clip. But I'll get some pics up tonight.

And as for a turbo, I think I'm going to go with MPI's suercharger. I think the supercharger is a better set-up for boondocking.

Here you go boys, prepare yourself for the most bada$$ looking exhaust you've ever seen on a sled. I can't get the pics to upload so check the link below for the pics. After reading some of you guys posts about the excell exhaust, some of you may not like this because it's very flashy and showy, but I love it. I think it's awesome!

This exhaust sounds so freaking amazing, I'm just beside myself. Just loading it on the trailer when we finished it up and hearing it rev, oh man! It's just got a deep throaty rumble to it. What do you guys think?

i see you added 2 slp flow rites into the air box, when i got phazer fx home yesterday i took it all apart, i added more air just above the stock air-box intake scoop, i drilled 10 - 5/8" holes, that way you get more air and still keep it dry, nice job on the exhaust.

I'd be more than happy to build more of them but I'm afaird that there would be enough variation in sleds that there would be a problem with fitment.

I just cut the stock exhaust pipe right up near the tank put the muffler that I bought up under there where I wanted it and then started fabbing up the exhaust pipe to connect the two. Just took some thinking and a welder.

As for the video, I know how to upload them but I don't have a video recorder that will upload onto the computer....

your still camera doesn't have a video option? its only like 10 seconds at the longest, but i'd love to hear it before attempting it myself...how loud is it...say on a 1-10... 1 being stock, 10 being stupidly and obnoxiously loud
