My digital camera does have a video function but there is no sound to it. so that isn't much help.
On a 1-10 scale of loudness, at idle I'd say a 4, revved up about 7. I haven't heard it at full rpm yet, so we'll see. But it's not an obnoxious loud, it's got a real deep crisp sound to it.
