First gen mono skid problems?

What is it about the 2005 year first generation of the mono shock skid that people seem to have issues with?When I was shopping for an Apex mono shock skid last year guys were telling me to avoid the first year skids and stick to one from an 06 and up sled.What gives?

weak suspension arms... half baked can fix that though

And they didnt have grease zerks but thats pretty easy to fix. Also the rails were beefed up in 06 with aluminum brackets.
