Trailered the Nytro up North this weekend for my first official ride. The trails were a lot of windy bush and super rough, and off trail the powder was 3-4' deep and did this sled ever give me a work out. I was riding with a lot of Polaris' and a couple arctic cats and had a hell of a time keeping up with them in the tight trails and it took a lot of effort to throw this sled around I found, the rtx might of been better for tight windy trails.
Problem number 1 I have split rail skis and they worked awesome if you were riding at a moderate speed but if you were flying to try and keep up I would pretty much have to hang off the sled to have it turn, so would I have to raise the limiter straps a hole or so to get more ski pressure they are still on the stock holes. The sled would also get sucked into the powder like crazy to if you were to far to the edge of the trail. (Definitely need an OFT relocator kit if everyone says they change the way the steering is, the sled is still new to me and feels weird steering it and pretty tippy feeling)
Problem number 2 is my front right limiter strap is ripping with only a 100 mile ride but I have read into that a little.
Problem number 3 my tunnel is so iced up and super heavy, what are you guys doing to help this if your running studs.
Problem number 4 when the trails got rough my rear shock was bottoming out quite often but I couldn't adjust the clicker because the snow froze over the whole shock.
Problem number 5 and this one was a big one, were riding through the trails at night and I go to switch my lights from high to low and they completely go out, I can tap them and flick the switch and they will not come back on, I have to shut the sled off and turn it back on and they work again, but if I switch from high to low beams when the sleds not moving they wont go out but as soon as im moving and go to switch them they go completely out again, whats up with that? I am running sled start HID's.
