I went to the western UP over the weekend and the first day I was not real happy with the sled. We stopped to take a break and when I went to take off nothing. Turn the key and nothing would happen. Found out battery had a dead short so I replaced it and it was fixed. It didnt p@#s me off the battery went dead but trying to start it off the clutch. When I would get it started the gauges kept going on and off, hand warmers wouldnt work, and tach stopped. New battery fixed all of this.
Next thing is how do you get it to not feel like the back end is floating around? It feels like it would turn on a dime but the a$$ end wants to be in front of the skis.
I think the last question is what is the best # of studs and lengths to use to help this launch off the line. I mostly trail ride and ride bean feilds at home. The sled is a 03 RX1 with rail ext. and a 1 1/4 x 136 track. Thanks for any help on this and is there a good clutch kit for this sled?
