Just got back from the U.P. Got to do lots of groomed trail riding and playing in 2-3' of snow. I should have got a attack as playing in all the power lines was so much fun but I got stuck like 12 times. After messing with different combinations with rear skid and ski adjustments I was able to get it to run pretty good through the twisties-need to sit way up on the seat as close to the tank as I can get to keep the skies down when accel. through/out of corner. POWER is awesome-as you all know-it is very addicting to blurp the throttle over little(or big) bumps/ramps. One thing this RTX doesn't feel like is heavy, it lands like a feather, even on hard packed trails/pavement. I have 460 miles on it now and had to stay up an extra day because I couldn't get enough. Had her up to 124 on the dreamometer=11,300RPM on hardpacked road, 1"snow on it at the time.

The cons: Windshield=cold, handwarmers=cold, inside idler wheels torn to sh*t(96studs), Resianance throughout all RPM's very annouying(had to buy earplugs to avoid headaches)-may just be my helmet though.

Was it faster than the ski-doo in one of the pics?

That ski-doo is a '04 600HO---its not even close, Apex blows it away, it out handles it also. The only thing he has on me is the stand-up riding-he's 6', I'm 6'2".

Great feedback and pics. Looks like paradise up there. My buddy keeps tempting me to leave anyday to head up there, but I just can't go 'til after the first of the year.
