First ride of the year in the U.P.

hey guys.. Saturday me and a buddy plan on riding from Shingleton (near Munising) to Paradise in the U.P. .... From looking on the map trail 8 should take us the whole way. My question is does anyone know how far this gonna be. We are thinking around 125 miles or so. We were planning on a refuel by Grand Marais. I believe it should be around 70 miles or so from there. Any advise?.

Sounds like a solid plan, Lake Superior brewing Co in grand marais is a must.....Magnuson hotel in paradise is a great spot to stay also

Be careful around pine stump, it's swamp land!

If you go to MSAsnow.org and then trail reports, you can see the trail reports along this route. Also, each pin point has the trail map at the bottom of the page that shows mileages. You'll simply have to click each waypoint along your route.

Do the 452/3 loop up there. Its always been nice. skip Whitfish. Its never good.
