Just got back from the first ride of the year.
pulled my sled in the garage and looked it over. i took the air box lid off and found the whole lid was covered in gass smelling water and the air box had watter sitting in it. is this from my uni pods? has anyone had a problem with uni pods letting water into the air box? i think i might just end up pluging the pods if thare just going to be feeding water/snow into my airbox

I have the pods on mine and haven't seen water in the airbox. By better engine breaking do you meen less or more or just a different feel to it.

Not too sure about the pods since i dont have any but other than the engine breaking what are other benefits of the clutch kit?

That's the issue I am having picking a clutch kit. I happen to love the engine breaking I use it all the time.

yamahas & soul,
clutch should engage a little sooner than stock & faster throttle repsonse while riding. (maybe)
definately reduces the engine breaking, in a good way. it's still there but you won't eat the windshield or handlebars when you let off.
by no means am i a clutch genius.
too 09,
doesn't seem right. maybe try silcone around the pods?
is your air filter soaked as well?

If you take out the shims on the secondary, you wont have engine breaking porblem anymore. I did this befor I add the clutch weights, made a very dig diffrece. I can cost in to a corner without using the break and I am not being thrown forword at all. The only porblem is not reverse, you have to lift the rear end hard or move the secondry by hand to get the shift. I only need it for the trailer. so it dont bother me any.

just used some silcone around the pods I hope that helps and no my air filter was dry but the lid was dripping wet with water it looked like the blowby tube could have been blowing out condensation? it was the first ride so it has new oil I'm going for a ride tomorrow and hopefuly the silicone clears this up

i know that if you overfill it, some will come out of the blowby tube. (guilty)
had some oil residue down on the subframe, didn't know where it was from.
hopefully that was just the case.
