Is a pre-filter the material used on a dirt track stock car around the air cleaner? I was thinking that material may work well. BTW, that mod looks SICK!

Dan, what sj said.
I am using screen - rigid mounted to the ram-air. Second, full piece of poly foam behind the screen, sandwiched between the two pieces. Third pre-filter material glued to the stock airbox over the holes.

I have my stock air box coming. The gps ready. I cut more of my airbox, slotted the holes together making one long slot! So basically just removed the front side of the raised area of the air box. (RAMMING THE AIR into THE BOX!)
I am pulling 120 MPH with the ram-air in around a 1/4 mile with a 136x1-1/4 track with 1-3/4 studs.
I would like to take this time to address the noise. Okay at idle its a little louder...engine rattle noise.
But at mid to WOT, it sounds like a modded exhaust on a rx1. The sound is very cool. Its definately a head turner.
