Took out my ltx se today down to the lake. There is a ditch I ride to get there with some dips and jumps. I blew through them like nothing. I stood up because I know how they felt on my 02 viper. Omg what a smooth ride. My first launch scared the crap out of me cause the front end dropped like a rock. Kinda like a bucking bull effect. Got to the lake with just a little snow around the edge it was fun but with know studs yet it took a bit to get going. I had a quarter tank of fuel so I rode to the gas station and put 25.00 in. Well my next launch that baby landed like Tucker H. I do believe the added weight from the fuel balanced out the sled. I have the rear blocks set on lightest and my floats are at 60 lbs. Not sure about limiter straps. Anyways its kinda hard to go slow I blinked 8200 rpms a couple times break in process sux. I got her home and stri :-o ;):D pped her naked after riding her hard. Couldnt find any wet spots. Everything was nice and tight. I want to thank everybody for the education on what to look for and pics. Her top was easy to take off. I like the fact there is only one plug to unfasten. Wireing harness has plastic around wires and that tape job holding it there. Not what I expected but at least the wires have protection. I did feel some darting so may have to fix that. My sled is number 1023 made. Is that just the ltx se or all of the vipers put together????? Sorry if I offended anybody. RIDE ON

I put 40 miles on mine today, break in is a drag. It hooked up well on the few 8000+ bursts I did.
Fan came on a lot when at idle. Should be a blast once I start getting on it.

I cant imagine needing more hp. Thiis thing just pulls so hard when hooked up. I feel Iam wasteing so much thrust not having studs. How many miles before I can drill them holes in my track???????

track stretch

So you think track stretch isnt important? Never done this before my buddy is on his 2nd skidoo and they stud it for him before he even rides as well.

i had them shave the "quiet bumps". and as long as theyre straight. i dont think its an issue. but everybody has their own opinion

studs

Well its going to be done than. I have 50 double backers with woodys gold diggers. I think I can go every other row for now. I dont have a template so should I buy one or make up a pattern????? Ideas are welcome

Rode my rtx for first time the other day in my fields since are trails are not open yet. (such B.S. Gun season was over on the 7th but have to wait for the muzzleloader and bow season to be over. )anyways sled is a beast. I have the 129 and it just screams threw the powder. Took down road to and yeah she is sure sporty. Cant wait to get on the trail wed.!!!!!!! :-o
