John Dee talking possible snow flakes and colder weather moving in!!!

5-10 DAY FORECAST:

The weekend still looks good, with temps to run in the 70’s in most cases and dry weather to dominate the region. A front will be working into the western Midwest by later in the day on Sunday and will be bringing the chance for showers and storms to areas west of the MS River later Sunday and Sunday night.

That front then looks to work through the rest of the region Monday and Tuesday, bringing rains to the east.

The air behind that front looks quite chilly and there could even be a few flakes of snow that fly across areas of northern MN, the UP, northern WI and northern lower MI by later Tuesday and into Wednesday. I don’t think we are talking about accumulating snow, but there is the chance that the seasons first flakes of snow could fly by the middle of next week in the Northwoods.

The rest of the Midwest would see temps fall into the 50’s for highs, with lows in the upper 30’s to low 40’s and perhaps a few lingering rain showers into the middle of the week.
