I was on ebay and saw an air cleaner kit for the fx nytro and curious if anyone has tried it? They claim it is better than the KN kit. Any thought? Looks like they also have a front wheel kit.

Is it not the same thing as Ulmers K&N set up? just looks like 3 separate filters.
There not K&N's thats for sure. Fix advertises that there his design and have better filtering for snow.

I would guess just filter materail as the design is the same.
I would go with the ulmer kit for 2 reasons. One there kit has ben on the dyno at dyno tech so you know what it will do and two they have amaizing customer support, to me that is worth a lot! I dont have either but I will be getting the Ulmer over the summer it has ben too expensive of a season otherwise I would have it by now.
In the past fix has had a few false hp claims.Wheen you take it somewhere itdidn't make any hp.

I personally would not buy a air intake kit for the power increase. I want one because I hate the stock air box and hate my oil dumping into a foam filter. The 2 hp midrange is nice and I really like that it brings your peak rpm down a bit to make for a little broader clutching range.
