2005 vector and 2005 rage both make a woosh sound on shutdown( turned off with key). Not every time but often. It sounds like a flame. Is this normal? Or is there something wrong with both of them?

If it's quiet when you shut them off, especially in a garage or enclosed trailer, the sound you're hearing is the oil draining back into the tank.
Totally normal.

I hear the oil draining back, this is emediately after turning it off, quick and then done with, the oil draining is more like the sound of making a pot of coffee.
The vector got louder yesterday, looks like a clean break where it goes from 3 to 1.
I would like to ride it the next week or so before the snow melts, but dont want to get the motor?
I'm thinking it should be ok since its back kinda far?
I pulled the seat off and theres no access to that area, can I swing the skid down out of the way and patch it up to finish out the season?

Yes, if you undo the upper rear skid bolts and lift the chassis away you'll have access.

how does the coolant level look? might have had an air bubble in the system that worked itself out.

Ok good, that's what I was hoping for, still much have to take it out anyways to get a good weld on it. Probably gonna do the donuts anyways since I don't know when they have been done.Yes, if you undo the upper rear skid bolts and lift the chassis away you'll have access.

Go with copper ones. The stock woven wire and graphite( or whatever that soft crap is) ones suck.
