Well just got back from Maine did 350 miles on the new sled. After getting all the ice build up off the rails and flap area I found the two inner idlers to have a 2" or so flat spot on them both. Do you think they may have seized or could have something have wedged in there to make them stick? Anyone heard of this? Sled going up to the dealer for oil and filter change tommorow. Wonder if they will do anything for me?
Anybody in the southern NH area on here that knows of another Yami dealer besides Keene Mtr? What else are they supposed to check on this service? Thanks in advance. :rocks:

Only you know what happen ! No dealer can tell
you the cause of this, unless he finds bad bearings
or reason why wheel was not turning.

That sucks and no its not common! 06 wheels replaced by dealer due to rubber falling off.

skidoo idler wheels 503190802 135mm saves your hyfax, yamaha wheels are bad same as the 06' delaminating

Recently posted on another thread is that Kimpex now has a direct replacement using the 6005 bearing. Go to kimpex.com, select the snowmobile catalog and go to page 356, at the bottom you'll see part #04-116-96S and it's only $24.99. You can’t order them directly from Kimpex but you can order them through Al’s Snowmobile 802-487-1000.

Just got the sled back from the dealer, the tech says a rock or something similar may have done the damage. Not only was there a flat spot but the inner plastic right below the rubber wheel was cracked from impact. They will be submitting to Yamaha. Dealer says they should be able to warranty but we'll see.
