Cannon, yeah these guys are great. We order and use the info on their site often at work. But couldnt find any yamaha info. The float rebuild kits come with a manual and have a whole page of ifp depth listings, but none of the fox part numbers match up with the numbers on the yamaha floats. This is where I'm getting lost. I'm hoping to come up with an answer today. When I do, I will be sure to post the info in here.

Yamaha dosen't give IFP depths out unless you are an authorized Yamaha shock rebuilder. Even some dealers don;t have them. unless this has changed in the last 3 years

Nothing has changed, if you can reference a shock of similar travel that would get you close enough. It's really just a function of how much area the shaft will displace at full travel.

the ifp depth for fox float and float 2 for apex and others is 6.69". this is confirmed.
