Yamaha sleds are now being made in Alabama?
Not hardly a handfull of sled R&D guys here either, components/prototypes are airfreighted over from Japan I mean Oklahoma. Some arent even tested here, they are tested on Mount Fuji, the highest point in J.... I mean Texas!

I am not THAT far off. Have you heard of Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation in Newnan, Georgia? I thought they built sleds. Looks like they only Golf Carts, All Terrain Vehicles (ATV's), Personal Watercraft and side by side utility vehicles. You are making it seem outragous to think that something Yamaha is built here in the states. I don't think its as big of a stretch as you are making out to be.

You'll note that they're only making some components and performing final assembly on this side. This is because certain components, like HULLS, ATV FRAMES, etc., are very bulky and simple enough that those american flunkies probably won't screw them up too badly You'll note that critical components, like ENGINES are still boated over.

Yamaha 09 BNG expanded Phaser & Nytro line up released new 126 3cyl FI engine in Venture. What is price of Jag Turbo as non turbo 120 was $10,500 in 08? What is price of MXZXR & GSXXR 1200? Poo FTS M10 discountinued par for poo left powercruisers without sled. Why all the complaining or is this normal for TY HP freaks. 150+hp very small market & does not appeal to trail riders. Yamaha has solid line up compared to anyone for 09.
