I would say you are around the $300-$800 range if that is worth the 5 hour drive. From your statement I would say probably not.

I got a pretty interesting/good deal on a non-preorder Viper RTX SE. I paid $11,599 w/o Tax and no freight/set-up BS fees. The interesting part of the deal was this particular dealer (Rays Yamaha in PA) gives you $1 per mile for every mile I live (driving distance) to the dealer. So...my home to the dealer is 298 miles and they are knocking off $298 off accessories. Pretty sweet deal which made it worth the drive.

yeah, but depending on what you were driving you spent 100-150+ on fuel!

The best deal I found locally was $11,899...I will happily spend $100 in fuel to save $600
