Well let me start by saying I have a 04 rx1 these are the upgrades I've done, m-10 suspension, apex seat with 3 inch handle bar riser, clutch work, now heres my question I have a chance to trade(plus some cash) for a 2006 apex gt with about the same miles, would I be gaining anything by doing this? other then getting a sled thats fuel injected
any help would be great.

I have an '04 warrior that is apexed like yours..... before it was done i would have traded to an apex in a heart beat, now i have the sled dialed in and i can not say i would trade it? thats a tough question! why does the guy want to give you his sled and cash? wouldn't the apex be worth more? unless he wants the m-10...... i would keep yours! jusy my opinion.
I think its all about your riding style. Weight, Height and the type of riding you do. I rode RX's for 3 yrs making constant improvements. My 03 is an apex in an rx shell. I changed everything over except the tunnel and the body work. I bought an 06 RTX and never liked the ride, position or feel of the sled. I totalled it and went back to all rx's heavily modified. I am only 5'-7" and have bad knees and hips and was really hunched over to reach the bars and could not ride for more than an hour without a break to straighten my legs.
I drive a sled like a helicopter sitting down with my feet locked in and push with my outside leg and pull with the inside going through tight twisties. I am not able to ride like that on the rider forward sled. So there is a diff in the styles. I think you'll miss that M-10 on the rough stuff though.
