Bold move on that ace release!! Kudos to brp.
Went for a small zip on sled again today. Tried my goggle combo, black mod and bv2s. I'm interested in a long cold day trip on the bv2s. I'm not sure if I'll go back to goggles.

A buddy's been wearing a BVS2 for 5 years and loves it. I would be willing to try one but not at $500!
Good luck with it. If you go to Dootalk you can find some threads on making your own absorbent masks for them.
I'm not a fan on goggles - that's why I went with the GM11. Best of both worlds.

I didn't know the value till I was surfing kijiji. Had 4 on my watch list from 180(mine) to 400 plus. Then I looked on eBay and thought that's a good price for lightly used. Drive to city and end up getting both them for 240. Knocked 20 off each if I took two. Then zip over to meet my good friend at my place (he went to brp, Yamaha, top line helmet shopping) and we were going for a ride. (He bought my 07) he looked at it and said there 500 bucks right now at enns. I was surprised and was feeling better about biting the bullet and just buying it blind ish. I know the value of both now so I'm stoked!!A buddy's been wearing a BVS2 for 5 years and loves it. I would be willing to try one but not at $500!

Most evenings 4 ish when home from work i'll zip out to Casino on 59 through trails, then ditch bang home. (east of Garson) or I'll head up to Oakbank, through to trail system heading east to Anola and hang a left (non system) ditch bang back to 44. That usually gets me a solid couple hours of riding. I used to enjoy pit stops at Longbottom (when I smoked, quit 3 months ago) but saw some sets of glowing eyes in the bush once and never stopped alone at night again.
I'm very slow this winter so will probably be doing alot more during the day, during the week. They always groom Wed nights around here so I'll head out then to make more time and hit say Seddons Corner for a bit of playing.
You?

I met up with WeaponX and another Nytro guy but lost touch and PM'd him here to say hey.
Looks to be that area, rings a bell when I was driving to Weyburn couple weeks ago to pick up the XTX!! I think I was looking left and right more than straight along that entire drive through the hills!!

not much. light dusting last week over the stuff that froze. Maily dodging quad ruts 4-8" deep.
I hear the winds houling out there tonight, right behind my place on hwy 44 are the bigest drifts to play in around when the wind comes out of the north. They get HUGE!! 1/2 km east of town!!
I was out today and last night but killing my hy fax. 120kms on my new baby and that's it

Let's get back on the trail....
Only complaint I heard from my friends with the BRP's were the snaps, on the strap, for the breath mask pulled out and he had to repair it.

buy them and get a custom yamaha wrap to go on themI found a killer deal on 2 brp helmets.
Shame n me I know
Always wanted a modular helmet. Tested red one today. Not a hint of fog up. Even stopping and warming up hands and leaving visor down. Current temps -30's. Black one is brand new, never worn.
So I've created a poll to see what everyone uses out there. Take a second to share your taste and elaborate on what type you choose for what type of day your heading out on.
Myself, exploring and finding powder to play in I use my klim with Scott goggles. Long, trying to make distance runs will include my new modular helmets. Warmer (proven today) and much better vision in low light to night riding.

Wrap is a great idea, I may look into that. With ordering a Hindle and some other goodies I can wait on the helmet.
