Was at my dealer last week admiring the new iron when I took a closer look at the fox air shocks on the Apex RTX and the Nytro. There was a considerable "sweat" of oil down the shock body from the seal of the air spring. Good for lubrication and sealing I thought but then I read a blurb in Supertrax on how they had never ridden an air shock set-up with any compliance. They could only set the air spring as jarring stiff or wallowing (poor handling) soft and in either condition there was no small bump action as the tight seal needed by the air spring body caused too much sticktion at initial movement. For anyone who's ridden with the air springs, is there any truth to this? :?:

All I know is that my RX shocks with Ti Springs are within a few ounces of Fox Floats. So why would you get them?

Freak , Where do I get "ti" front springs .? I need some for the longerx1 warrior shock - not the mountain ones .

Got mine from Ken at Specialty sleds. Maybe not the cheapest but everyone else wanted specs and I didnt know them. He has already done the homework.
