I hear the gas float shocks are stiffer and lighter and wondering if I add these if I can avoid going with stiffer sway bar? Anyone have any idea? I just want better handling less body roll. :? Or will the sway bar still help even with gas shocks...looking for opions. thanks

One costs about $1,000 the other about $75. I guess I would try the bar first.

Ok guys thanks I'm gonna go with the 13mm sway bar!

Fox floats ar $885 at Goodwins. They could REQUIRE the 13mm bar because they are so progressive in their action.

How easy or hard is it to change the swaybar?

899.00 is list from yamaha. A good dealer should be able to take 15% off that price if you buy much from them. Anyone want to know the price of that electric adjust Ohlins?......... 995.00 for one shock! Ouch!! ===SRXSRULE===

Shocks aren't cheap. I think spending money elsewhere would be better. Just my opinion.
I tried the 13mm swaybar with the Fox shocks and it was a bit too much. I went back to the stock bar. Never tried a 13mm bar with the stock shocks.

I heard stock shocks and the 13 was the ticket. Ride hard and corner flat, ride easy and its tippier than stock.

First I've heard about it being used on the RS sleds as it has the geometry that the 4 cylinders get in 06 which is more roll resistant by design.
