I weigh about 190, so say 220 or so with suit and helmet? There wasn't much difference from full tank to empty, either.
On one ride my son rode with me, so I put the rear shock spring on maximum, with the highest suspension rate. I had to sit up near the tank, as he is about 100lbs., and the sled still handled pretty well. He did not like it though, as the rear shock would bottom on full compression dips, but otherwise it was pretty good. Guys riding other sleds with me complained about the rough trail, but I really didn't think they were too bad at all.
I also think you would want a little push in the front, as this helps limit some ski lift. This setup seems to do this. If you need more steering, just feather the throttle and get the amount of bite you want. Although I stilll want to try several other types of skis, along with the Ohlins in the rear.

Thanks. I want to try your settings, but figured I better check the weight difference first.
