I dont have the A arm covers on my sled...but I noticed that the silver is getting all chipped and knicked...anyone having this issue. I trailer enclosed or in the back of my pick up so it cant be from stones while trailering.

Probably from ice chunks or boondocking. I've got minor on mine too but I relate it to boondocking.

I dont remember ever having an issue like this on my Viper....just seems like its chipping way to easy...especially with it being a common theme.

I noticed on mine that the lower a arms are nice and smooth, even shiny, the uppers on both sides are dull and rough like they did not recieve the same finish.

YEs I did see it when I bought it and am not really complaining as I will most likely poder coat them at some point.

The scratches on mine are from hitting a buryied sign post at about 5 mph, stopped me dead and a good thing I was not going any faster as nothing bent. I did kick the reverse lever off when I was throwen off to the left side. A new reverse lever is $27.

I found the paint that matches it exactly. I got it at Gil Roys. The color is B30 Aluminum. It is manufactured by Plasti-Kote. I can get some if you need. It's like $4.00 for a nice size bottle (2oz.) It is an exact match.
