2016 RS Vector XTX 1.25 Lug wifes..2013 RS Vector LTX.. 2003 600 VMax Past Machines 3-2007 Attaks 1-2010 Vector LTX.. sorry no Stinkdoos or poo's cats.
I bought used this 2010 RS Vector LTX GT. 330 miles on it. I'm wondering if the front shock springs are set OEM. The picture shows my shock. Seems compressed down alot. I rode my wifes 2013 VEctor LTX and had the feeling her front end was lower while riding and more stable. I noticed the powersteering difference too. Ha.

I'll keep searching here for info on settings. Lot's of stuff to sort thru I bet. I hate to change oem settings fearing they know best out of the box.

Looks about right. Lift front end of sled in the air and let skis dangle. Loosen the collar so the spring just touches bottom of collar then tighten 2 full turns.

I was reading that would increase corner roll? but reduce ski lift? is that right you think?

Ram is correct, The gt shocks are different than regular front shocks. You can't get your a arms to sit flat with these shocks. Set up is best the way Ram suggested and then adjust your clickers to your riding style. good luck and ride safe.

I noticed the front end is different between our 2013 vector ltx and the 2010 vector ltx. The 2013 is lower. The spindles are different and lower. And the A arms drop lower. So Yamaha lowered the front end on the 2013 to correct ski lift I bet. And it felt lower when I jumped from the 2010 to the 2013 the other day on the trail.

i set all the delta box sleds i do so that the a arms are close to parallel to the ground. i then double check the toe.

i had a weird thought and checked the sway bar. the 13 has the 11.75mm sway bar, same as apex xtx. the 10 might have a lighter one stock as it did go though a part # change between the 2 years.

I can feel the ski lift in the corners with the 2010 vs riding the 2013 vector and my 2016 vector xtx. They did good to change the front end to help rid some of that.

Maim is bang on in terms of the sway bar differences. Yamaha also went with a lighter spring rate on the front shocks to go along with the updated spindle geometry when compared to the previous gen non EPS sleds.

The 2013 and 2016 sure rides nicer then the 2010.
