My 2014 RTX SE has had the shock rebuilt/revalved for the previous owners weight, he was a 275lb guy, I am 180. I am thinking this could be my front end push problem as I had my front skid spring very loose last year and still have minimal weight on the skis and a pushing problem.
does it seem logical that this would transfer weight to the rear?
who would be best to send it to in the Northeast US?

I would look to the rear shock affecting transfer the most. Was that revalved also?My 2014 RTX SE has had the shock rebuilt/revalved for the previous owners weight, he was a 275lb guy, I am 180. I had mine done by monster performance out of new York. They did an awesome job but when delivering them back to me they did not package them properly. One end of the tube they were in opened (it had only 2 pieces of packing tape holding it closed) i lost the front skid shock. I had to chase the guy down fro over a week. he claimed it was not his fault. I told him it was i sent them to him with no issues. I eventually ended up paying 1\2 on a replacement shock plus the rebuild, plus the revalve.
Never again.from now on i will use cannondale27

As far as I know it wasnt but I don’t have all the first hand info, only that he revalved for better handling per his size. Would you normally do both? What is your run around time?I would look to the rear shock affecting transfer the most. Was that revalved also?

Right now its a week. Yes I would normally do both especially on a 14. As matter of fact rear is way more important than center as far as transfer is concerned. As far as I know it wasnt but I don’t have all the first hand info, only that he revalved for better handling per his size. Since the previous owner was a big guy,
Did they change the springs with the revalve/rebuild?

I reached out to him, shock only, but he only mentioned the front shock. I guess I will have to have them both looked at but opening day is soon here and we have tons of snow, may have to defer to a later date.
