I have a stock Viper and see guys running premium all the time in stock sleds. Do you gain anything from 87 octane vs. 93 octane?

I think there are difference in ethanol levels but what about performance, detonation, cold temps etc.

Any advantage to run premium in a stock viper?

87 all day in my viper and my nytro no issues. These sled are designed to run 87. Purchasing high octane gas can be risky as it sits in gas station tanks longer than 87. I have not had any issues with the small amount of ethanol in 87. That is the bonus of a 4 stroke.

Non ethanol is my #1 goal. Most often this gas is 91 octane so that is what I run.
Our local store (end of my drive) has 87 on his pump but it is non-ethanol regular.......last time DEQ checked it it tested out at 90.........but I run it almost all the time cause it's handy AND I want to give them my business........

Non boosted 87---Boosted-- highest octane you can find(91 +)

87 ethanol in Iowa in my boosted sled at 6lbs. But keep it off the throttle to avoid failure. 3lbs all day so far, not recommended by the way.
