So after getting consistantly bad milage, I seached and found how to adjust the fuel injectors. I did adjust the clutch to a 3-3 setting instead of stock 6-1. new sliders, new skidoo idlers, adjusted track to be slightly loose, about 1.5 inches. toe in - out about .25 inches. still getting 13 or 14 in perfect conditions. hard trail, just enough for sliders.
I have noticed that the baro pressure in gauge is always low. usually around 29.4 to 29.6 but the actual barometic pressure here is usually 30.0 to 30.6 (seaplane pilot- i know the numbers).
So this got me thinking: is there a standard that yamaha uses for the initial setup for the fuel injestion settings? i know we can adjust them but wondered if they were supposed to have a stansard initial setting. I have not checked what my settings are yet.
08 apex gt anniversary, pilot skis, no studs. Any ideas?
