fuel light flashing

I went for my first ride tonight. It was only for a mile threw the field.We got about 3 inches of snow,but anyways the gas picture was flashing and the hole gas gauge was flashing. Iwas just wondering what this meant or am I just low on gas ? all help is appreciated.

When the light come on you have about 2 gallons left on an 07. When it is full you have about 8 bars, when the light comes on like I said there is a 2 bars left.

For the 2007 models the fuel light comes on when 2 bars left ??? My 2008 RTX, the light comes on when there is only one bar left !!!

Yeah the good thing about the phazers are the can go really far on a gallon of gas!
