Hey guys, just got my sled back from the dealer. I had a loose connection on the starter and thats all they did.

Now I gave the dealer my sled with an empty tank of fuel cause I thought they would have it for a while and my truck was on empty so I thought what the hell.
As I loaded my sled up, my gas light was flashing which I expected, so I filled it right up and my light is still flashing even though it shows a full tank.

What happens is, the fuel level flashes(all 8 or 9 bars) and the yellow empty light flashes. Everything is hooked up to the gas tank(I already checked).

What could the problem be?

no codes?

maybe just had nothing in the tank. is it sitting level?
i've never had mine that low yet. just 1 bar w/ light on.
when i had my sled on a stand, on a slight angle back, my light came on but didn't think it was flashing. when i set the sled back down level, it then had 2 bars.

sled could just need to cycle a few times possibly?

Maybe disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes and reconnect it. Maybe it'll reset the fault. Or maybe the float is stuck in the tank, or maybe the Dealer missed putting a connector together.

the float might be stuck, try unplugging and replugging in the wire that runs to your float sensor, maybe th e mechanic didn't plug it in all the way, it's at the front of the tank, should be able to get to it by taking off the brake side panels and cowlings

When I'm low on gas my yellow "warning" light goes on solid and a picture of a gas pump goes on solid also.

As per manual "the fuel level warning indicator indicates a malfunctioning sensor, disconnected coupler, broken lead, or short circuit when detected by the self-diagnosis device of the snowmobile"

It goes on to say that it warns you by flashing continuously. I'd look for a connector not hooked up or a broken wire.
