i got a deal going on, full tank of fuel, and the warning fuel can flashs. even though all the bars are light on the fuel guage, they all flash on then off. theres a sensor of some sort on the front of the tank, i put a little grease in it, still blinks. what do you guys think?

Check the circuit in the link. Fuel sender (43) goes to the guage (39), then to cdi. You could check resistance on sending unit (43) in diagram. I would check all connections first. Pull electrical plugs and look for corosion or something loose.

You should check your battery terminal connections, a loose one will cause that problem.

Maybe disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and see if the problem disappears.
