Does anyone on here know what could be wrong with my sled? The warning light keeps coming on and flashing seven or eight times and the fuel gauge says empty but it's got almost a half a tank in it......also the speedo sometimes is reading but the track hasn't even moved?

Bad ground, have you checked/cleaned your battery cables?

Next time you start a thread, it might be helpful to put the SUBJECT in the Subject line.

Fixed.

If you had a bad ground at the battery connection, it seems that you would have noticed trouble, at least intermittantly, with the starter.
I do not have Tech or Operator Manual with me. But, have you looked in your Operator Manual to see what the seven or eight flashes, whichever it actually is, = in the trouble shooting codes? It could be telling you you have a short or open in the wiring or at a connection point in the indicated circuit. Could the riser have caused a pull on a wire and broke it?
