It actually leans the motor out a bit. Type in fuel pressure regulator in search and you will get a bit info on this subject.

i'd save your money & get a commander with proper mapping if you really want too.
i've ran mine with a pipe & frogzskins for over 1k miles with no issues.
still get 19-20mpg going easy.

yeah i dont think i'm ever going to get a power comander i'm more into bolt on's. now if i came plug and play with preset maps i would think about it

I put a DJ power comander on my Wife's '08 Kawasaki Ninja, it wasn't hard to do with the downloads/ mapping they have for 'em.
Getting one for my Phazer very soon....

i found it for $270 but you have to program it your self right? I'm to picky to set my owen up just by the feel of it. i want dyno proven maps maped for air box and exhaust mods

Ulmer Racing sells them with maps pre-loaded for whatever exhaust/intake mods you have.

Worth the extra few bucks to have a proven fuel map done for you.
