I heard someware that the oem fuel pump relay should be replaced with an updated one, is this so?
Some guys were experiencing failures on them when it was cold out, I myself had that happen twice. It builds up Carbon on the inside as it arches between the contacts every time you start it. If you warm it with your hand or tap it, that normally was enough to get it working. I slam dunked mine on the work bench a couple of good ones and that must of knocked off most of the carbon build up as it never happened again.
They are around $10.00 I believe, so it might be worth changing or carrying a spare. I also moved mine from against the chassis to the opposite side so it was easy to touch or remove. It's a real to remove from the slide plate and rubber boot when it's cold.
