Ok, so I've checked track tension, chaincase tension, etc., but ever since this sled was new, when I'm in deep snow, and give it a wack on the throttle, it makes a grinding noise, almost like the chain is skipping teeth. Befoer I take it apart and look for wear, has anyone else had this issue? If I feed the throttle gently, no problems, drag racing-no problems. But some scenarios and I need some throttle quick and it makes that nasty noise.

are you sure it's the chain case? Sounds like it could be the track ratcheting.

This is more a metallic grinding noise, and not that plastic rubber grinding noise when a track ratchets.

Your reverse is probably adjusted wrong. Loosen the linkage until it is just slack.
Thanks, I was starting to have a hunch my reverse linkage had something to do with it.

That's exactly what mine was. I fixed it tonight. I suggest you open you chaincase though and check your gears and for metal shards. I only had a couple. But it works kick now.
