I just installed a new front arm on my rear suspension and at the same time I replaced the two inside idler wheels that have been missing since the sled had 400 miles on it. Now It makes a very loud noise. Its kindof a clicking/rumbleing noise. I rode 130 miles yesterday and didn't notice any drag or anything about the sled being wrong. When im on any trail or even on the side of the road I cant hear the noise but as soon as I get on the road (or other very hard surface) I feel the vibration in my feet and hear this loud rumbleing noise. When the sleds on a jack stand It dosnt seam to sound the same and I cant pin point it.
any help is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

Remove the wheels and see if the sound goes away.

Thats my plan but I wont be able to get to it until tomorrow so I was hopeing someone had experienced something similar.
Those inside wheels run inbetween two rows of rubber knobs and it looks like there is very little play. I am wondering if the track is moving back and forth and the wheels are running into those rows of knobs. It looks like there is more play for the slides to move back and forth before hitting anything but there is less play where these wheels run. May also be the reason everyone seams to loose these wheels. I think I have my track pretty tight but maybe its still too loose. I may also try tightning it up one or two turns at a time until its obviously too tight and if the noise is still there its not an issue with the tension of the track...

Are there any spacers around those two idlers, I have never had the center off but it makes sense to me that if the idlers are not spaced in the center of the knobs they they will be riding on the side of the knob and making one heck of a noise.....

There is really nothing to it. It consists of a spacer that holds the wheel out away from the slide rail, a bolt, nut, and the wheel. I simply took off the old bearing race that was still on there and put on a new wheel. I looked it over a little closer and they are running inbetween the knobs but the wheels are all beat to hell, looks like from running over the studs. Im not sure how long these inside idlers are gunna last but Im pretty sure they are the cause of my noise...
