FX Nytro Belt issues!

Had my first belt blow on my nytro after 2200 miles and it BLEW!!!! There were about 8 pieces laying all over and there was a birds nest in both of my clutches, meaning the threads of the belt got all tangled up in the clutches and it took me 20 minutes and a knife to clean it all up! I put the new belt on and 20 miles later i put the sled on the trailer, the carbides stuck and I spun the belt for a few seconds. Doesn't look to be any chunk or flat spot on the belt, but is a little shiney. Is this belt ok, can I still use it. Also, I need at least a spare, what is a good belt to get?

When I 1st got my sled I backed it off the truck n drove it about 15 ft b4 I seen I had the parking break on. 1100 miles on my belt and it os now showing signs it needs to be changed

Yep, 2200 miles on first belt. Is that what they usually last? My doo used to blow at 1100 miles.

I got 3500 on my xs805 ultimax belt

Belts need to be ran in slowly for the firts 25mi. I run over 4500mi on the original belt and still going,and I ride with the throttle to the bar ALOT.

I've never had belt issues with either my 08 Nytro or my 06 Apex. 4 thousand miles and the belts still look new and I've never blown one.
