what is the gear difference between rtx se and rtx? and clutch engagement between them?

Nothing,Only difference is the SE has a better/more aggressive shock package.

why the clutch engages at higher rpms

I don't own a SE so I can't tell you why,But as far as I know they have the same clutching!

No, the clutching in the SE is different. I don't remember the details but the primary spring and weights (rivets) are all different. If you do a search I believe Allen (srxspec) posted the details somewhere.

The SE also has some different reinforcing on the rails that the RTX didn't come with.

what about performance wise speed and acceleration

I know there is little things,Big one being the suspension. I didn't know about clutching and I still am not sure they changed it.

The tunnel design is not the same, SE shares the same tunnel as the XTX

I'm sure. We have an RTX, a SE, and a XTX in our group. All three came with different clutch setups.
