Just topped up the fuel in my sled today, and filled it right up to the white sleeve.. I walk across the garage and back and then I hear running water.. or so I thought.. Turns out it started pissing fuel under the left hand panel/running board foot hole.

I didn't have time to investigate.. I just threw a rag under it once it stopped running.. Whats down there? Vent line? Over flow line? It was right after a ride, so maybe the stagnant heat was pressuring up the tank right away.. But it happened fast, I only walked 20ft and back..

Fairly sure that's a vent line. Drains into the foot holder bar. When your working on skis or what ever with your head down low on that side you can smell fuel vapor.

The vent is tied into the left board support. If you top it all the way off some will leak out.

Mine did that a few times too. I re-routed it a little higher so we'll see if that takes care of it.

What he said. Re-route up the handle bars. The extra height will keep the siphon from starting.

I've had the same issue, especially with the Trail Tank. This summer, I rerouted the vent line around the steering post a couple of times and then back down to the running board. Hopefully, this will work.

grimm, should work great until the steering post turning all the time eats thru the rubber line!
my poo atv did this and leaks on me if i fill it up.

I used the stock coil spring fuel line protector in the area wrapped around the steering post to protect it, so I feel I'm good.

Yep, did the same ;)!

But the Nytro needs as much gas as possible.
