Gas Mileage

Has any one checked there gas mileage on the RS Venture ,or the Rage
I have 160 miles now and seem to be getting 16 MPG . Which is the same as the RX1 that I ride with .I am not complaining as it is way better than the 600 .Just wondering what others are getting .

I've only ridden 25 miles. But Wilson, I think 160 is stll too early. Might not get your best until 500-1000. The Yammie guys at the spring showing who did a year of testing said around 20% better than an RX1, we will see.
But I got to say in the many years i have been talking to those guys, they are pretty honest.
Lucky you, might have the most miles on a 3 cyl on the forum

It might be even longer than that. Ive heard that these engines can take as much as 2000 miles before they really start to loosen up.
If you are getting 16 mpg at 150 miles, I would say that once you reach 1000 miles you should be up around 20. Id bet that once you reach 1500 miles you will be in the mid 20s.

When I started with my 04 the first tank I beat my buddies Viper by about 2 bucks. After another 100 miles it was more like $6 and basically kept increasing for about 500 miles then leveled out.
