Looks like they will be grooming after the next snow...there is about a foot at sea level and above 15000 there is 2 feet.. ;)! .didnt go higher...was in my truck..I shall be posting from Gaspesie...My new sled den is down in River A Claude..if anyone needs a place to stay...have all the info for houses guides and hotels...will still report other riddding areas...but only when friends tell me...the snow is out east... :jump: .

they are open..the logging roads are great..still need more snow in the mountains for some good powder offtrail.they are slowly openning the system..just takes time to do such a large area.and no one ever seems to be in a hurry around here.lol..one more good storm and everything should open..theres snow here..unlike valin ..no people and smooth trails.

well it took a beatting in the rain..right now its snowing..but it was rainning for a bit..they are going to get snow and snow squalls..but it looks like there will be a storm on monday..but for now you should wait for more snow. :o| .valin has snow..but its packed with people..

My buddy just told me it started snowing at 7pm yesterday and still comming down at 6pm tonight. ;)! .they got 1.5 feet so far and still snowing..but lots of wind..when it snows ..it snows there.he will be ridding near sainte-anne-des-mont..he is going to ride in the back of there..will post what he sees...atleast it snowing.. :jump:

just got the word...it snowed 12 inches at sealevel and cause of the wind..there is only 6 inches in the moutains..most of the snow on top blew into the valleys where there is 1-2 feet..powder..your best bet still..is Mont Valin..the snow is still thin where the wind blows..this is why rimouski and around there have trouble with snow...too much wind with open land..

Tons of snow..put 300ks on the trails :o| ( to brake in the sled) ;)! and never saw a sled..saw 2 sled tracks ..lots of moose tracks.the trails are like carpets, there is about two to two and a half feet at sea level.I dont know about the rest of gaspesie but the north shore is prime..Sainte-anne-des-mont to grand valley is rolled powder.
.been ridding in the trees..only 4 feet though,so still a little thin.but that was monday, they got more snow since then.
when I come back in 2 weeks, I shall post some crazy pics..well crazy for quebec..loll.

.............................SNOW HERE......................

its still the same. :moon: .just that there is another 2.5 feet of snow has fallen..trying to load some pics but they wont load...but the trails are all open ..and they are like carpets..no one on them..just the odd guy going to get something at the store or going to work...they groom here alot..we get ocean snow squalls here so seems to snow a little every night...just no one down here this year.ok were missing 2-3 feet..but theres still 3-5 feet depending how high your on the trail..or mountains..come and ejoy the feeling your alone on an adventure. ;)! .lol..

here comes another 20-30+cm for gaspesie. :moon: .yahoo..and another storm tuesday.the trails are smooth and there is going to be tons fresh powder on the logging roads .where this week my wife will be ridding with me..the fallowing week my son will be mountainridding with me. :tg: me on the yam.the yam is waaaayyyy harder :o| than the flickable RMK...so come down and ride in powder ;)! .its everywhere.. :jump:

Gaspe has gotten 40+ says one buddy of mine..and the boys staying at my place on the north shore of gaspesie said that there was 2.5 feet in the mountains..2 feet at the house..and still snowed all day and they are expecting another 15cm..going down tomorrow..will post some pics...
