This is the trail were on going to a clear cut...its not groomed as you can see....
And for you yammie lovers....YES its the super charged Apex leading the boys..and when the 2-smokes..includding my son on my RMK...would go out of my rut for a bit ..then if there was a little hill or something they would get stuck. :o| .lol..now I remember why I have one of each...lol...I love my technical RMK..but when its steep and deep...Turbo or Super Charged :yam:


will post pics next month. weekend...my gigs are finished and they charge 10$ a gig down here when you go over.....lol.. the 2-smokes were fallowing the Apex S.C. 162 yam mountain...lol..Had a pic up..the only one I bothered to take..and my buddy ask me to take it off cause he called in sick...lol..like his boss doesnt know why..lmao

it rained..but the snow is still 3-4 feet at sealevel and 8 feet at 3500...tons of snow in gaspesie...The snow starts in sainte-anne-des-monts...the shic-chocs have 6-8 feet of snow...will ride that trail at the end of april...They are getting snow..10cm...weds...so its not going to rain...might rain on friday..but only at sealevel..heres a pic of the ride we did on sat..after the rain..it snowed at 1500 and higher 6 inches of snow..just about 1-2 inches at sealevel..were ridding at 2500 and what a veiw..the mountains here go to 3900...Looks like winter to me..lol.. :jump:

the trails are going cause they go into the valleys where the villages are and its at sealevel..but 500 feet up and theres still tons of snow...0-2 feet at sealevel and 6-8 feet above 2000 feet....the logging roads are great...and I shall be doing the chic-choc trail from merdocville to la cache in 2 weeks...will also ride at the end of april..this will be between 2500-3500 feet ....yes there will be snow..shall post..heres some pics...will do an album for the end of the season..
 
Keep the posts coming. I have enjoyed reading about your riding in the Gaspe area. It has inspired me to read a little more about the area.

Would like to plan a trip there in the future. Not sure where to start. Feel free to post some of your day/weekend trips that you have done, distances covered etc.

Its tough sizing an area up, based on a map. I always like to read from others on the ground they cover.

Here are some pics from the ride on the weekend...there was 1 foot of powder on friday...but got warm on saturday...Told you guys there was snow in Gaspesie..will ride the last time at the end of April...could ride in may..above 3000 feet...but must go and make some money..lol..Will post an album later...

yahooooo my house in gaspesie is in the 20cm area in gaspesie...I am in the area they call grand valle..and we are getting 10-20cm there..my buddy says the have atleast 10cm on the ground and still snowing..

Well they closed the trails on sat....dont know why because theres still lots up above 1500...We are riding above 2000 and theres lots of snow...Stumps are starting to show..but if you stay on the logging roads then your good...Shall post pics when I get back home...just too expensive to load them here...we pay for each one...lol..dont have service like gaspe...I am in the gaspesie mountains..
I shall post my pics on the photo thread...this is the last report for the region..its closed...enjoy your summer guys...and Mont valin trails are still open..they will groom till 15 April.. Jack
