I am like a little kid waiting for christmas to get here. I ordered my 2010 Black XTX and it can't get here soon enough for me. Now the question is what should I be thinking about adding to or modifying on the sled?
1. I know I am going add the fourth wheel kit.
2. Stud it. (How many?)
3. Powder coating the bumpers and the spindles.
4. Shock covers.
Is there anything else I should be thinking doing or over looked?
thanks

The same thing you have to do with every new Yammy:
- Cut the coolant strength down from -80 to -40
- Install extra, preferably larger aftermarket idler wheels in the suspension
- Add a temperature gauge
- Increase storage
- CHANGE SKIS

Why do you need to add bigger wheels? Just add extra ones. Once the sliders get to a certain point, they stop wearing. Also my XTX has 851 miles on it and the sliders look new. The extra rear wheel is also a good investment.

I have a set of small wheels that I will put on once I see where the hyfax is wearing down the most.
I did not change my skis on my 06 nytro, but everyone was saying to do that one too. The skis on the XTX are going to be the same ski as on the nytro I just sold, correct?
