Gearing for stretched Apex

I have a 2006 Apex GT with stock grearing that I am stretching to 136". Would it be worth my time to change the gearing? Is this a big job and are the gears expensive? Can I leave the clutch alone?

I am looking for a good used cobra but so far the only track I have found is an intenes with 1.5" lugs. Might try the intense.

I just streteched my apex to a 136 and when I spoke to allen ulmer he suggested that I change my upper gear from a 24 to a 23....What gears in yours now

I would put the 23 gear in, its not that hard to do, and i would at least put the white secondary clutch spring in and set at 3-3.thats what they run in a stock attack which is a 136

Ulmer quoted me $35.00 for the gear
