Picked up a 19 tooth gear today from the dealership to replace the stock 21 tooth one. Is it as simple as just switching the two gears, or do I need to make other adjustments as well?

Swap out the gear and just re tighten your chain finger tight then back it off 1/4 turn

Just to confirm the chain finger is the bolt that sticks out of the front (forward facing) of the chaincase, correct?

Bolt #15?

Anyone willing to save me the trouble of guesstimating by measuring how far their bolt sticks out for a 19t gear? My bolt is impossible to turn by hand and I want to make sure I don't tighten it too much.
Thanks

Why not set it prior to putting the case cover back on? Then you can see and feel what's going on. I would also check to see what is making your lightener bolt so hard to turn, you are backing off the lock nut right?

Because I already put everything back together haha. Yep, I loosened the lock nut, I'm thinking it may just be the excess grease on the bolt.
