OK, I bought an 06 Attak with 8500 miles on it. Hauled it back to Texas to work on it this summer. Looking for opinions on a few things. Keep in mind I get one week a year up in Quebec riding so I want to get the really important things taken care of so my week does not end up in problems. So far I have
1. Replaced springs in both Primary and secondary
2. Replaced bushing in Primary and secondary.
3. Installing the brass donuts now in exhaust
4. Replaced bulkhead and a-arm bushings in the front
5. Oil and filter change, chain case changed
Now I am planning to take the skid out and do bearings etc in all the wheels. The question is which should I spend my money on (wife is getting fed up). The beef up kit to the skid arms or a revalve and big spring? Can I get the beef up kit and and just revalve? Or is spring required?
Anything else that I really SHOULD do to prevent an issue?
I weight about 235 with no gear.

I would change the driveshaft berings or at least clean and grease them.

Thank you- Forgot that. I did clean and grease drive shaft bearing and jack shaft bearing.

The spring alone without revalving will yield a 'springy' ride. The compression will be fine but the spring will rebound very quickly almost as if it's over powering the shock. Revalving is well worth it.
