Hello everyone! I'm wondering what you guys are thinking about the GHT-R-Done Hauck silencer? I'm thinking about buying on over the summer and putting it in my 06 Attak. I'm sure some of you have bought one! Is there any videos where I can tell roughly how it sounds? I have a ram air airbox lid and a Dynojet Power Commander III. would I have to install an original airbox lid? And would I have to take the Power Cammander off?

Which one are you going with? The loud one or the trail one? I installed the trail version on my '10 Vector and it sounded awesome, BUT, I had a cut out condition at full throttle from a stop. It was a lean condition. A power commander or fuel accelerator would have taken care of the condition. I'm not so sure about your PC and airbox combo. Since you have the PC I would think you should be ok? Not sure though. It wasn't an ear bleader by any means. Just sounds like a sport bike. I installed the silencer on my '12 Apex and LOVE it. No cutting out at all. But there is a difference in size from the one you are looking at and the one that's on my '12. To install it on yours is a PITA in my opinion. You can see some videos on youtube.

I had a similar setup with the Hauck exhaust Clutch kit and the Hauck fuel accelerator (cheap version of a Power Commander) I added the ram air lid as well. The trail version was just annoying at 70 other than that it sounded great but 70 is cruising speed on alot of the trails up here and the droning drove me crazy. I went back to stock. I miss it though when you blip the throttle or go across the lake. It wasnt much louder than stock unless you got after it. Pulled over by many Wardens and they never even asked about it. I didnt notice any performance issues but not sure about the gains either. It goes better than stock, but not as good as my buddies setup with the Excell headers and clutch kit

Not enough gain for the money you spend. Intake and clutch kit make most of the gains it seems.

hello sorry for the slow slow reply. i'm thinking about getting the loud one, not the trail one. i'm not doing it for gained performance. in my eyes my attak has enough power as it is. i'm just looking for a little louder (OR allot) and a little better sounding exhaust. is there any other silencers you guys would recommend that is loud and same price or lower?

I had the trail one in my old 06, and it sounded sweet! Almost the same setup also. Just adjust your fuel a touch, and you are good to go
